Built by hand

The Lab

Besides bieng my Portfolio, this site also serves as a hands-on demonstration of what I can build — a place where ideas are turned into working software rather than simply discussed.

The Lab is where this approach is most visible: a collection of small, self-contained projects built entirely from the ground up. No frameworks, no shortcuts, and no copy-pasted boilerplate. Every project has a purpose — to demonstrate that something actually works, not merely that it looks like it does.

The Lab includes a set of UI components built from scratch, an admin backend with its own permission system, a bot classifier that trained itself to recognize and categorize bots, and a digital business card that is, in itself, a fully functional web application.

Choose a project below and see it in action.

Admin Backend Tour

A tour of this site's custom-built admin backend — analytics, a self-learning bot classifier, content editors, and the permission system tying it all together. Hand-written PHP, no off-the-shelf CMS.
